| I slide my fingers across
The white and black glossy keys.
The resonating sound makes
my heart stop; I freeze.
One-by-one, I plunk them,
With a precision that can bring you upon your knees.
As I play, I think of my day.
I remember the sky, cloud, and green trees.
I hold fast to this memory,
As I play my arpeggios in threes.
So as I play my piano,
I realize, it is my heart's true breeze. |
