i dont understand

a movie about WWII; about how a group of soldiers that survived D-day and later have to search for para-trooper across enemy lines in order to take him back home. And in the end all of them die except the para-trooper that was sent home. This para-trooper throughout his life will ever be great full for these men who saved him. That's a good movie
